Since opening in 1971, FKU has always been on the right side of history. We began as a women-only organization, and as of today, all of our instructors are women. This is an important part of who we are and who we will continue to be in the future.
With the recent inauguration and uncertainty of the next four years, we want you to know that we care about our students, our teachers, and our mission to serve those who face discrimination. In addition, allies of these marginalized communities are always welcome to train in our dojo.
Feminist Karate Union is, and will always be, a safe space for everyone no matter who is sitting in the oval office.
