On Saturday, May 2nd, FKU will hold our annual Spring Demo at the Garfield Community Center. For those who haven’t experienced it before, you can think of the Spring Demo as a combination karate recital and community potluck. It is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to invite family and friends to come see what FKU students are up to in their training.
The demo itself will begin at 1pm and FKU students should arrive at the Community Center in time to be dressed and ready to warm up by 12:30pm. Reach out to a Sensei or board member for setup volunteer opportunities starting around 12pm.
We look forward to sharing food with our community. Sign up for the Potluck today! Use the chart below to plan your cooking experience.
